I know some people will be mad at me for saying what I’m about to say but I feel it must be said and is the only time it could be said. I hope my statements will cause you to think about the world and what’s be happening as of late.

This week in the world of music we lost a mega talent and legendary artist. The recording artist Prince died at age 57 leaving the world and his fans in shock. I like many people I had a deep respect for Prince’s musical talents and abilities but I had even more respect for the way he carried himself.

Most people will remember the music and concerts but I will remember a man who was committed to helping people and doing his part to try to make the world a better place. Now with that said; I say this: enough of operation “Purple Rain”. Prince was a man who did more for the people than meets the eye. He was also a great musician and composer and I’m sad to see him go so soon.

We must not allow his death to stop us from focusing on what’s been happening this week. You know; things like the “European Union” having a financial meltdown and vote tampering in New York. Also if you really want to honor the memory of Prince why not take on some of the social issues he dedicated his life too? He was a very privet man but he tried to do something to help change the world for the better.

I’m going to leave you with something sweet baby Jesus said and I want think about it for a moment. Try to understand what he meant by what he was saying to the people back then and apply it to today. He said: Let the dead bury their dead. Why would he say something that seems so insensitive?  I’m going to let you think about that. Sengbe; out!!!
